Laurens Girls Soccer defeats Stamford/Jefferson 3-1 in the opening round of the Stamford Mayor’s Cup Tournament. Abby Croston leads the charge with 1 goal and 1 assist for LCS. Victoria Stevens and Ariana LeBeau net 1 goal each for LCS. Emma Hendrickson scores the lone goal for S/J. Both teams will play 2nd round games on 9/5.
